With the domestic season a month away I thought we would add some fun to the proceedings by having a Wenger Rater. PRE - SEASON VOTINGThe voting is live my friends. Just place your vote for Arsene Wenger as you see him performing during the off season in negotiations, in inspiring confidence in players to stay on and in building up the team, getting the entire squad ready for the new season in mid August. 2012/2013 SEASON VOTINGWhat you need to do my friends is continue to add your vote to this poll following each match that our first team plays. I will collate all data on the eve of the next match. After the next match you simply change your vote or keep it as it is if you rate Arsene at the same level of performance. All your votes per match will be averaged and a chart hopefully produced to see how Arsene has performed as the season progresses. Thus we will have a chart of Arsene's performance from the perspective of us the supporters in both the off season and when the new season starts. As always my friends this poll would be even more fun if we talk Now Let The Voting Begin Enjoy pals

Should I do a Jayram and put in an early vote LOL. I just did it myself considering the news on RVP this morning. Wenger has once again failed to get our best player to believe in what he is doing. How the fuck are the fans supposed to believe in him?

How the fuck are the fans supposed to believe in him? Precisely. I'm going to revise this poll. Let's rate Arsene as we feel he is performing currently. The poll will of course continue each week until the season begins when the match rater method comes into operation. I'll place an edit to my original post. OK Pals

don't take it too seriously until we've played PL games. then clear the ratings and start over....
I just changed mine to test it - works fine.

Well the ratings will clear as we vote anyway Pal since you can retract/update your vote. However I think it would be fun to consider how we feel about Arsene now and how we view him as the season progresses. Now will it be a win, lose or draw?

How the fuck are the fans supposed to believe in him? But thats not Wenger's fault, thats bloody Gazidis and the other twats. I think Wenger's hands a re tied in that respect. But did they (inc Wenger) not learn the lesson of last year ? By the look of it ... NO ! Eejuts.

You know Mr Head, there are discussions, articles and reports. There are those that say Wenger's hands are tied. Yet some allude to Arsene's influence over the board, that in fact he calls the shots. Then again as you may recall, around this time or so last year, Egghead CEO was saying that Arsene was a one of kind type of manager. That he approached the board asking to understand their sustainable plan and pledged for his part to do all he could by keeping the club in contention. That Arsene is the most highly-remunerated person at N5 may suggest that he is being rewarded for his efforts in this direction. I think the truth may be somewhere in the middle which may well mean that Arsene is complicit in all these, the underinvestment, the wages policy which coupled with his own ' plan ' by which I mean his abstemious approach to the game which never was of course but which has crept into his way of thinking since 2005..... There is no smoke without fire as they say. My 2c pal

Just updated my rating to reflect the (highly likely) signing of Cazorla. Added to Podolski, Giroud and even potentially Sahin and that's a flipping great pre season. I'd personally still like a M'Vila esq figure, not to mention back up RB, goal keeper and Baines (*swoon* ) but maybe I'm just being greedy. Talk RVP around into embracing our new vision and woo-fooking-hoo. Course, now we need to unload some chuff too but according to Jamie Sanderson (youngguns) that's proceeding well.

If we end up with those four and keep RVP then even I would say well done to Wenger. I might even refer to him as le prof again... I used to you know!

I think the Board have decided to spend some of that short-term investment in case the wheels come off..... excellent if it happens.

If we keep RVP and confirm Cazorla .. I will be very happy and Wenger will get a suitable vote from me.
We need to keep our best players and add to them.
