Being the winner of the not606 prediction league .... I thought I would get this going... The prediction League starts with the game against Sunderland on Saturday 18th August. Your prediction should include a score line and 3 players you believe will score. Even if you predict 0-0, choose 3 goal scorers as you don't need to get the prediction correct in order to gain bonus points for goal scorers, and goal scorers can be from either team. 2 points for correctly predicting the winner or a drawn game. 2 bonus points for predicting the correct scoreline 1 bonus point for each of your players that scores a goal ( regardless of how many they score) Good luck Predictions can be changed right up to kick off time. ---------------------------------------------------------- Next game : Sunderland at home Saturday August 18th
Predictions: Jayramfootball - 2-0, RVP, Walcott, Podolski RVB - 2-0 (no scorers named yet)

I would suggest max goals allowed at 4 for us - else we will nominate 8 players to get any points going !!!! If the score is more than 4 - any prediction of 4 is deemed correct?

Why not just allow the nominating of say 3 players per game and each goal they score gets 1 point? That removes the possibility of abuse and reduces the need to get the correct score to get points.

Yep, like that... Good idea, that's what we will do. Only 1 point per player who scores even if they score more than 1 goal. So: 2 points for predicting the correct outcome ( winner or match drawn) 2 bonus points for the correct score 3 players selected per match, with a bonus point for each that score Maximum points per match 7
