It looks like the cogs are starting to turn, We all know there’s friction between Usmanov and the board so it was only a matter of time before a power struggle started. I only hope it doesn’t effect the team but Usmanov would still be much better than Kroenke and has reiterated his desire to strengthen the squad.

I don't get some of the anti-Usmanov hysteria. Lets look at the facts.
He openly expresses love for the club, he is an Arsenal fan first and foremost. He has publicly stated he is not in it to make money, he won't be selling his Arsenal shares. He has a dubious past, but he did his time, so people need to get off their high horses. He shows more of a connection to the club than Silent Stan who doesn't even go to the games. People think there will be a departure from our ethical practices and a move towards sugar daddy-ism. Usmanov has never said he would bank roll the club but he has said he would help Wenger buy the players he needs.
I don't see what the problem is, Usmanov can help take us to the next level to be able to compete. I don't see Wenger as the sort of manager ho will frugally spend Usmanov's money. Once we get set, remove our stadium debt, with the highest gate receipts in world football and greater income due to success on the pitch, we would be completely self sufficient !
Usmanov needs to take charge and get rid of these fuddy duddies holding us back.

Usmanov- please spend all those £750m profit you made selling Facebook shares at the highest price, and offer Silent Stan over a £1bn for the club! If ever we needed a knight to rescue us its now. Chuck out those old city duffers, and their new mates and get football people on the Board.

If Usmavov can get his shares up to 30%, he's legally guaranteed a position on the board, whether Hill-Wood likes it or not.

He's so near and .. yet ... so far !!!
If he got on the board he'd have full access to the accounts and you know he would blow the whistle on whats been going on behind the scenes. He needs to get shares from somewhere ...
