Is this some sort of a joke?!
Scott Sinclair - the player that totally flopped at Chelsea, did well in the Championship and flattered to deceive in the Premier League last season - is going to be snapped up by Man City for £5.5m with a fee rising up to £8m dependent on appearances.
If Adam Johnson can barely get a game, how the hell is Scott Sinclair - probably one of the most overhyped players I've ever seen - going to get sufficient game time?
This links back to HotHead's article where players are moving to clubs for money and no other reason; Sinclair definitely fits that bill. Players are too money oriented these days and it's sad to see.
Has Sinclair even thought about whether he'll get a look in? What a totally peculiar signing though, it's not as if they need him and there are better players out there, I honestly can't see the logic behind this unless Sinclair is there to make up the numbers.
This is such a stupid move which he will end up regretting because he simply is not good enough for Man City. I can 99% guarantee he will be ruining his own career if he joins Man City, there's far too many players ahead of him in the pecking order and he will be missing out on a lot of football.
But ah it's okay, so long as he has a nice big wage, that's all that matters isn't it (?) Not your career on the pitch, but the wedge you're earning (!)
This just exemplifies what is wrong with clubs having unlimited wealth that they haven't earned and moreover, what is wrong with the mindset of modern day football players.
