Apparently he's been focusing on the shape of the team. If this is true - thank fcuk for that.
We all know our shape is non existent half of the time, Vermaelen seems to be pleased about the changes and says he is learning !!
I wouldn't mind seeing the Cologne game to see if this is just "talk" or truth.

I hope its true but I have my doubts, hopefully when the season starts he can prove that he's not just all talk.

I don;t think Bould has a say tbh, it all revolves around Arsene, and his unwillingness to listen to advice.

Gutted if thats the case, I was getting happy that Arsenal are finally paying some attention to defensive shape and defensive duties. I'd happily sacrifice some attacking intent for defensive stability !!!

but hold on give the man a chance - you don't sort out the years-long issues we have overnight.

what I did notice yesterday was the number of defenders back in counter attacks.
When Coquelin lost the ball in midfield and the attacker for Cologne headed to our goal, there were at least 4 players around him when he finally took the shot.
Maybe Bouldy is having an affect on them .. it was good to see.
