Yeah I think if they start the season with Kane and Defoe as well as losing Modric with no proper replacement, it will take something spectacular for them to finish in the top 4.
They may well struggle this season.

I'm not that impressed with Tello, he has big pace but all too often there is no end product .. where have we heard/seen that before Player aside do you think £11-15M is a good deal for song? I would personally let him go for £15 but I think £11 is too cheap for him. I think it depends on the replacement we get. If we get a player better than Song for around the same money then it is a good deal - whatever the price. If we get less money then .... you would have to question how good a deal it is. £15m seems fair to me.

Song has admitted interest in him from Barcelona. Great. Gazidis get your slimey arse to Spain and sort out the transfer and do not return with less than £15m in your pocket !!

The wage bill is a consequence of that idiotic and insane wages policy courtesy I believe of one Arsene Wenger. Perhaps I should amend the rating I just gave him

No need for Gazidis to go anywhere, latest reports suggest that Barca have sent their Vice President to London to tie up the deal. AW on the other hand is still protesting that no contact has been made re Song and he is not for sale, what planet is he on?

If or rather when Song goes we better get a pukka DM or really we won't be better off than last year especially if RvP doesn't stay. 3 good players in with those two gone won't put us in a better place.

I don't particularly want Song to stay compared to other players we have ..its more that I want to see Bould/Wenger commit to protecting the back 4. Its the fact we are exposed so easily that is the issue - not whether Song is sold. Identify who is to do the defensive role and stick to it.

Yes you're right, cover for the back four is not an Arsenal trait in these later Wenger years. In respect of the earlier ones of course, he enjoyed the presence of our legendary back four or should that be five!!!
