This is getting silly. Goal reported that Theo Walcott has pulled out of the England squad because of a thigh injury and is doubtful for the Sunderland season opener. This is getting ridiculous.

Nah. He's pulling out because Wenger wants him fit for the start of the season and doesn't want him to get fatigued in some stupid meaningless friendly.
He's been 'ruled out' with a 'slightly bruised thigh'
I mean, come on, that's conclusive enough proof that the 'injury' isn't that bad.

mmm.... Wilshere, Rosicky, Arteta, Sagna, Kos, Oxo, Walcott -I expect I've missed some? Then we have how many not match fit - - - -?

I hope they're all 'convenient' non serious twinges just so they can avoid international duty.
There will quite possibly be some miraculous recoveries by saturday, i hope.

Quite Toughie I think scheduling internationals when a league season is upon us is a pretty dumb move but then again, sports management seems populated by dummies

True .. but what can't they just say they are ill .. rather than injured ?? Less obvious and certainly not as risky. more chance of getting over an illness by Saturday than an injury surely ?!!
