Interesting read, The fact that Pod scored 14 goals in 19 games with 4 assists suggests to me that he should be in a more central position possibly partnered with Giroud. Obviosuly he can play on the left of an attack but I feel his talents (namely his clinical finishing) would be wasted on the left

There is no doubt that we play a lot of football around the penalty area but there is often no one getting in there... if we sort that out then we will be doubly dangerous

Very good article. Giroud is, as has been suggested, nothing like Chamakh, I think it will be a great buy, but lets see if Wenger does his usual trick of buying players and playing them out of position ....
Giroud should be up the middle and Pod not wide - more of an inside forward.

neither fit to travel on Asia tour? huh? You would have thought that the tour and some match practice - even for only 30 minutes per game would have been beneficial. Walcott is there - it makes zero sense.
