Thought I'd start a different thread to talk about the action from Hockenheim so as not to mess up Mr Samurai's prediction thread
Fernando leading from Seb from start and after 1st stop.
Jenson up to 3rd but 5.6 sec behind
Kimi took Schumi on lap 21 for 4th while Hulkenberg and Perez are next up in 6th and 7th
Webber mired in 8th and still on 1st set of tyres followed by Kobayashi and PDR

Lap 36 Seb is annoyed with Ham who is one lap behind but just slipped by him. WHy he thinks he should get caught up in the race proceedings just proves to me his ' lack of a driving brain '. Even if he is on a different strategy he is mucking around with the race leaders when he is that far behind which is bad form. If the shoe was on the other foot he would have something to say about it too. No wonder Seb is unhappy as the gap goes from 0.9 to 2.0 sec However having a fast car between Fernando and Seb works in my favour Jenson however is looking strong at 3.9 s behind the leader

Vettel was a i of a knob head today, clearly Hamilton had pace so why should he not un-lap himself ?
Alonso himself said he would let Hamilton past if it came down to it, but no Vettel doesn't think its right.
Spoilt frikkin brat.
Alonso proved his quality again today .. he really is top, top quality. I see why he is rated as the best driver on the grid, he has everything !! Got to say, I didn't like the guy after the whole Hamilton/McLaren thing but now ... he is top boy in my opinion

Well glad we agree on Alonso Mr Head While there is nothing wrong with Hamilton unlapping himself he was at that stage a backmarker and it is usually an unwritten gentleman's agreement that as a backmarker you try to avoid interfering with the battle for a race lead which is why backmarkers are usually given the blue flag so they stay out of the way of the battle for the lead. It does happen such as when Irvine overtook Senna back at Suzuka in 1993. On that occasion Senna was not involved in a lead battle if I remember correctly and the whole affair became some cause for amusement and I'll bet you'll find a YouTube video of it as well. However it remains that a backmarker shouldn't get in the way of those contesting a race lead. You may have noticed that the commentators made a note of that too. I'd like to leave it there if it's alright
