you are getting better with age - I'm the internet forum version of Dider Drogba Headed for Shanghai, are we Kyle? Back OT While most of the reports said that the reception for RvP was muted, one or two like London24 did report that there was some booing by Arsenal fans. They are obviously of the less-educated type and it is rather sad that for some, memories are short as is intelligence.

I always find it odd that fans cannot see the difference between our love for the Club and the 1or 2 owner/policy makers. The Club goes on in spite of all players, owners, managers etc they have temporary custody. There have been differences of opinion between a number of recent players and the current management. That doesn't make them villains. Unless it is clear they are merely cash motivated - Cashley, Nasri.

I thought Diaby, Song and Djourou looked shaky - no surprise there. Santi looked MOM - Verm and Geronimo had good work outs. Giroud looked like our usual standard - finding it quite easy to hit the keeper with a big open wide goalmouth. I can forgive Giroud for that - he showed good technique with everything he did - I'm certainly not worried about him AT ALL !!! He'll find his feet quickly. Whats more worrying is the "forehead" - he keeps making the wrong decisions, he doesn't shoot when he should shoot and he shoots when he should pass it, he needs to sort it out.

Ashley Cole stated the reasons why he wanted to move, broken promises and to win silverware. In his case both reasons are valid. If he was promised more money than he got then he is within his rights to be miffed. Granted its only £5k p/w we re talking about but, its the principle surely. And he won trophies. Nasri made it clear at the beginning of the year that he wanted to see investment in the squad, he saw Jenkinson and Gervinho - so he left. Well within his rights. All of our top players in recent years have cited the same reasons for leaving. Of course Nasri and Cole would earn a lot more by leaving Arsenal, a) they are top players and b) Arsenal pay measly wages to top players. that doesn't make either player greedy in my opinion.

Yeah I agree I'm not convinced with Gervhino, he has excellent dribbling but little else. His finishing is awful and he makes terrible decisions at times. Did you see the chance were he could have laid the ball to Podolski for an easy tap in but instead tried to be too clever and went for goal himself? poor choice that didn't effect us yesterday but in a tight game a chance like that could decide between getting 3 points or 1 etc. Giroud looked good in my opinion, linked up the play well and was not afraid to have a shot which is encouraging. He was even winning the headers in the box which Chamakh used to be good at doing.
I thought Diaby was very good yesterday, made some good forward passes and kept tracking back. He is still very rusty so there's bound to be some mistakes but he should good signs to me unlike Song
